Ischia, the largest of the Neapolitan islands, in a privileged geographical position, thanks to the beauty of its landscape, its enchanting beaches, its lush pine forests, vineyards, chestnut groves and citrus groves, has been defined as THE GREEN ISLAND. Its volcanic nature makes Ischia one of the major thermal centers in Europe, the thermal waters of the island are in fact well known and used since ancient times. The mixed nature of its coast, sometimes sandy and full of splendid beaches of very fine sand, alternating with stretches of rocky coast with splendid bays, crystal clear sea and seabed rich in marine flora and fauna typical of the Mediterranean makes the island one of the favorite destinations by tourists and locals.
The island of Procida, which stands out for its typically Mediterranean beauty made up of pastel-coloured houses, fishing boats and small villages perched on the hills. The island is completely of volcanic origin, born from the eruptions of at least four different volcanoes, now completely extinct and largely submerged. Procida has become very famous thanks to the book “Arturo’s Island” by Elsa Morante and cinematographic masterpieces such as “Il postino” with Massimo Troisi and “The Talented Mr. Ripley” with Matt Damon. All the beaches of Procida have a dark colour, which recalls their volcanic origin, a feature that gives the eye a unique play of contrasts, making the blue of the sea even more intense.
