Nerano

Nerano overlooks the bay of Marina del Cantone situated in the centre of the “Nature Reserve Marina di Punta Campanella”, consisting of several beaches such as Recommone with rocky seabed and crystal-clear water that make it a very popular destination especially for boat trips, snorkelling and scuba diving. Along a path from the little square of Nerano, you can also reach the Bay of Ieranto, now owned by the F.A.I. (Italian Environment Fund) which protects it as the only intact bay of the Sorrentine Peninsula. It is a unique inlet that has always fed myths and legends.
